UVALDE, Texas — The law firm for the Uvalde school district is once again under fire for withholding records about the Robb Elementary school massacre.

Last month, attorneys for Walsh Gallegos told the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) it had made a mistake in only releasing about 3,500 pages of documents after the Fourth Court of Appeals' July 16 order.

KHOU 11 and a coalition of media organizations have been engaged in a years-long legal battle for transparency about the mass shooting.

Over the past week, the firm produced 25,000 more pages, but the vast majority were unrelated to the shooting. Attorneys for the media coalition sent a letter to Walsh Gallegos on Friday, calling the supplemental production of documents “severely deficient.”
