LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A North Las Vegas man is dead after Nevada State police said he lost control of his truck and hit a concrete barrier along I-15 north of Craig Road.

Troopers responded to the crash on Monday around 9:30 p.m. in North Las Vegas.

Hugo Cesar Arriet Lujan, 48, was identified as the driver of a Ford F150 pickup truck, which police said was traveling northbound on I-15 near Craig Road.

Lujan failed to maintain his travel lane and lost control of his truck, then traveled into the outside shoulder, striking a concrete barrier, and entered a dirt shoulder, NSP said. Lujan was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
