OLATHE, Kan. — What started as a "Pink Out" at an Olathe high school football game has grown into a fundraiser for the University of Kansas Cancer Center.

One Olathe Northwest High School student is behind the mission. He's helping raise thousands of dollars to turn the stands pink and donate to the Cancer Center for outreach and patient care.

Olathe Northwest Senior Dexter Favreau's idea to pack the student section with pink shirts is now looking like a stadium "pink out" thanks to community donations.

"Anyone who walks in, you deserve a shirt," Favreau said.

He's a senior and is part of Raven Flight Corps. Favreau said their pep squad often leads the crowd in chants football games.
