ARLINGTON -- It’s been one step forward and two steps back with the Rangers’ injuries lately.

Adolis García returned from the injured list on Aug. 23 in the midst of the club losing another eight contributors in the span of 10 days. One of those contributors -- Jake Burger -- returned from his own IL stint on Sept. 1, making Texas as healthy as possible for the moment.

But days later, García found himself on the injured list again, this time with a Grade 2 right quad strain, manager Bruce Bochy announced ahead of Friday's game against the Astros .

García exited a Sept. 1 win in Arizona after hustling down the line to beat out a double-play ball. He initially stayed in the game to run and scored, but was removed for defending the following frame. At the time, the Rangers were willin
