A Queens man is dead after a two-car crash in Freeport on Wednesday night, Nassau County police said.

Around 11:09 p.m., a 23-year-old man was driving a 2022 Honda east on Atlantic Avenue and collided with a northbound 2015 Honda on South Long Beach Road near Atlantic Nursery.

Craig White, 55, the driver of the 2015 Honda, suffered severe trauma and was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The second driver was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Neither car had any passengers, police said.

An investigation is ongoing.
