The San Francisco Giants head to Missouri today to begin a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals.

Taking the mound for the Giants will be right-hander Carson Seymour, who enters today’s game with a 4.74 ERA, 7.36 FIP, with 18 strikeouts to 11 walks in 24.2 innings pitched. His last start was in the Giants’ 11-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday, in which he allowed four runs on five hits with two strikeouts and two walks in three innings.

He’ll be facing off against Cardinals right-hander Michael McGreevy, who enters tonight’s game with a 4.17 ERA, 3.72 FIP, with 40 strikeouts to 11 walks in 69 innings pitched. His last start was in the Cardinals’ 4-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday, in which he allowed one run on five hits with two walks in six innings.
