RICHLAND, Wash. – A rollover crash early Friday morning left four people hospitalized and led to charges against the driver, Ashante Sanders-Jackson, according to the Richland Police Department (RPD).
The crash happened around 2 a.m. when a car speeding westbound on Van Giesen Street failed to navigate a roundabout at Thayer Drive. The vehicle hit a fence and a power pole before rolling over. Two passengers were ejected during the accident.
RPD reported that all four individuals in the car were taken to the hospital, with at least two suffering critical injuries.
The incident closed Van Giesen Street until about 11 a.m. as the City of Richland Electrical Department replaced the damaged power pole and police investigated the scene.
Sanders-Jackson, 23, was found to be driving while impa
