LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - For families of loved ones living with a mental illness, the journey can feel confusing, overwhelming, and isolating. A local program is working to change that by offering education, connection, and lasting support.
Starting in October, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will relaunch its Family-to-Family class in Lake Charles. The free program is designed to help relatives better understand mental health conditions, share experiences with others in similar situations, and build a network of support.
