A car crashed into a church in Gordon County Friday night, the sheriff's office reports. Deputies are searching for the driver.

Gordon County deputies and other first responders are currently on the scene at Newtown Baptist Church.

Officials say the crash happened around 8:40pm. They have yet to find the driver of the car.
