Near the bustling Denver Tech Center stretch of I-25, about 120 people — and the Nuggets' mascot — are rappelling a 19-story hotel in the Denver Tech Center this week.

Put on by Over the Edge, an urban rappelling experience company, and the Cancer League of Colorado, tickets to rappel down the Kimpton Claret Hotel benefiting the nonprofit are going for $1,000. In doing so, Cancer League of Colorado has raised around $150,000 thus far for cancer research and cancer patient services in the state, according to board member John Snow.
