He’s a little bit country, a little bit Limp Bizkit.

To some of you at home, that sounds incredibly awful, but it makes for a pretty lit concert.

Hardy brought that crazy combo to The Pavilion at Star Lake Friday on the Jim Bob World Tour to a packed, partying crowd that was ready for anything.

The Philadelphia, Mississippi-born Michael Wilson Hardy with the big black hipster glasses titles his country songs in small letters and rock songs in ALL CAPS, and on Friday, the latter dominated the 22-song set.

On his last trip to Star Lake, in 2023, he gave his friend and co-writer Morgan Wallen a run for his money as the hell-raising opener. This time, he had the full headliner’s production — a screen behind a ghostly front-porch setting — to add even more punch to his performance.
