The Notre Dame-Green Pond High School football team avenged two heartbreaking losses to North Schuylkill last season with a dramatic victory of its own on Friday night at Lafayette College’s Fisher Stadium.

The Crusaders stuffed a 2-point conversion run by the Spartans with 58 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to secure a 21-20 win.
