DILWORTH, Minn. — A special honor was held Friday night, Sept. 5, at the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton High School football game against Park Rapids Area.

The school hosted a Salute to Service Game.

At halftime, the Minnesota National Guard Bearcats put on a short demonstration for the crowd of what they do.

Instead of going to the locker room, the DGF football team stayed on the field to watch.

The guard saw this as a great opportunity to get together with the community.

"We service in the community, we live in the community and we work alongside the community so this is a great opportunity for us to get together with everyone and cherish the great game of football," Capt. Daniel Erickson of the Minnesota National Guard said.
