Manchester United have high hopes for summer signing Diego Leon.
The 18-year-old signed for United this summer from Paraguayan side Cerro Porteno in a deal that could rise as high as £7million.
He broke into their first team as a 17-year-old and has already made an impression at United, training exclusively with the first team since his arrival.
Leon featured throughout pre-season for United and impressed enough to be retained with the first team squad beyond the summer window.
Fellow teenage left-back Harry Amass, who made seven appearances for United last season was shipped off on loan to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday instead.
Certainly Ruben Amorim has been impressed. "He did really well, he's learning things, he's powerful," the United boss said of Leon back in July.
