MANDAN, N.D. — Fargo Shanley, behind three touchdown passes by Jax Mattern, beat Mandan 27-9 on Friday in North Dakota high school football.

The Deacons, who led 27-6 at the half, also got a rushing TD from Derek Boehm to improve to 2-0.
