LOWER GWYNEDD — Wissahickon didn’t have to go far between the third and fourth quarters against Archbishop Carroll Friday night. The Trojans offense only needed to walk 20 yards – from the 40-yard line on the north side of the field to the 40-yard line on the south side – during the break.
During that short trip, senior quarterback Evan Tolmie talked with coach Rory Graver. A 10-point halftime lead was down to three and it was anybody’s game. The two came up with a perfect play.
Tolmie started the fourth quarter with a 60-yard touchdown pass to Quentin West and the momentum was solidly on their side. The Trojans dominated the final 12 minutes and remained undefeated with a 38-14 win at Wissahickon High School.
