Del Valle trailed 23-13 late in the third quarter, but Fette kept slinging, and later rushing, as he finished with 349 passing yards and 100 rushing yards. Franklin's Ernie Powers rushed for 342 yards, but Del Valle got a handle on him as the second half progressed and the Conquistadors went to 2-0. Franklin fell to 1-1.
