When Penn-Trafford appeared all but certain to suffer its first defeat of 2025, the Warriors’ duo of Nate Desmond and Cody Yacamelli provided a flurry of fourth-quarter heroics and continued what has been a magical start to 2025.

After trailing 24-12 with less than four minutes to play, Penn-Trafford (3-0) remained undefeated with a 25-24 triumph against No. 5-ranked Moon (2-1).

Yacamelli, who also rushed for a first-quarter touchdown, punched in a 2-yard touchdown run with 3:37 to go, narrowing the Warriors’ deficit to 24-19. A few minutes later, Desmond completed a game-winning touchdown pass to Landyn Stikkel with just 6.8 seconds remaining.
