The school secretary and caretaker strikes were suspended last night but have already led to the postponement of Gaelic games competitions, while pupils in one school were asked to bring in soap and toilet paper with them.
The Forsa union put the strike of 2,800 secretaries and caretakers on hold after accepting an offer of talks at the WRC from Education Minister Helen McEntee.
