The Kansas City Chiefs just can't seem to shake their recent history of injuries to their top wide receivers.

Rashee Rice missed 13 regular-season games last season after suffering an LCL tear from a collision with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and Marquise "Hollywood" Brown missed 15 regular-season games after suffering a shoulder separation during the preseason.

It seemed like Kansas City was heading for a similar fate during Friday's season opener in Sao Paulo, Brazil, after WR Xavier Worthy exited after just one series following an accidental but brutal collision with tight end Travis Kelce .

The 5-foot-11, 165-pound Worthy was swept clear off his feet after accidentally running into the 6-foot-5, 250-pound Kelce as they both crossed over the middle of the field.
