BUCKSPORT -- The Spruce Mountain Phoenix came away with a huge 38-8 win over the Bucksport Golden Bucks on Friday night.

Phoenix quarterback Dylan Jewett put the state of Maine on notice, putting up 186 yards and scoring four touchdowns on eight carries in the first half.

Bucksport would counter with a touchdown run from quarterback Haven Kennedy, but it wouldn't be enough for the Golden Bucks as the Phoenix would hold on and walk away with a decisive victory.
