An at-risk 78-year-old man was reported missing after being last seen Friday in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert.

Gilberto Alora was last seen around 9 a.m. Friday near Washington Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Alora was described as a 5-foot-8-inch-tall man weighing 180 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a Mickey Mouse T-shirt with blue and white checkered shorts.

Anyone with information regarding Alora’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
