PORTSMOUTH – After going through an undefeated regular season and finishing 10-1 two years ago, the Portsmouth/Oyster River football team had to rebuild last fall and the inexperienced ClipperCats took their lumps through a one-win season.
That win came in last year’s finale against Spaulding, but the older and wiser ClipperCats wasted no time to show how much they’ve improved by opening this season in dominant fashion in Friday’s 35-0 Division I victory over Dover at Tom Daubney Field.
