There were things North Mason head football coach John Fullington loved about his team's 37-0 season-opening win at Klahowya on Friday, Sept. 5. Forcing six turnovers, including five interceptions, is something the Bulldogs will take every week.
Yet there were several areas of concern that Fullington made sure to jot down on a piece of paper after that game that he planned to address with his players in the locker room. One of the words Fullington wrote down — "discipline" — spoke to the fact Friday's game was far from a clean performance by either team. There were a total of 38 penalties accepted during the game, which also featured two ejections, both on Klahowya's side.
