Howie Roseman and the Eagles already had DeVonta Smith and John Metchie III on the roster. Now, they’ve added another former Alabama wide receiver.

The Eagles have signed former New England Patriots wide receiver Javon Baker to their practice squad, the franchise announced on Friday afternoon.

In a corresponding move, Philadelphia released edge rusher Antwaun Powell-Ryland, who the Eagles selected in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL draft.

It was previously reported last week that Baker would join Philly’s practice squad. But the Eagles waited until after their win over Dallas to make the move official.
