When I lived in New York, I was so used to walking that I could wear almost any shoe style without feeling much pain. Since I no longer have that tolerance, I now require a supportive style whenever I visit. While ballet flats aren’t typically my pick for comfortable shoes , I had a good feeling that my newest pair from Quince might be an exception.
I had only worn the shoe once before, but the flexible woven exterior and cushioned insole provided promising comfort. On my most recent trip to NYC, I decided to put them to the ultimate test — walking more than 20,000 steps on the first day. I’m pleased to report that I was completely pain-free when I returned to my hotel that night.
