CEDAR BLUFF – Kadien Tracy accounted for 114 yards on 11 carries with four touchdowns. Kuper Bradley completed 12-of-14 pass attempts for 211 yards and two scores as Cedar Bluff opened Class 2A, Region 7 football play Friday night with a 42-20 victory over Gaston.

Tracy put the Tigers (2-1, 1-0) in front in the first quarter with a 3-yard touchdown rush, set up by his own 45-yard run. Bryant Gravley’s extra point made it 7-0.

Bradley accounted for Cedar Bluff’s next score on an 18-yard touchdown pass to Jonas Brown for a 14-0 Tiger lead.

The Bulldogs (1-1, 0-1) got on the scoreboard on Noah Cohen’s 8-yard touchdown run. Cohen added the 2-point conversion to trim Cedar Bluff’s lead to 14-8 at the end of the first quarter.
