The Green Bay Packers are going from Counting Crows last year to The Black Crowes this year for the team's annual Kickoff Weekend concert.

The bluesy rock band formed in 1984 by brothers Chris and Rich Robinson will perform a free concert outside Lambeau Field at 5 p.m. Sept. 6 on the night before the Packers' season opener against the Detroit Lions at 3:25 p.m. Sept. 7.

The stage will be set up in the parking lot on the northwest side of the stadium, as it has for other recent Kickoff Weekend concerts.

When Counting Crows performed in 2024, it was the band's first Green Bay concert since 2004. You have to go back even further for The Black Crowes' last swing through the city: a sold-out performance in 2001 for Oneida Bingo & Casino's Pavilion Nights series. The band was added a
