I am writing you regarding my concern about the tone of the recent letters to the editor that target the upcoming local election. These letters tend to cry and bemoan a recent (spot on) commentary by Park Record Editor Don Rogers about one side being referred to as “mean.”

The letters then proceed to be entirely mean and angry in their nature, thus confirming the editor’s opinion. I cannot help but see a definitive pattern in the letter writing, and I know a concerted, orchestrated campaign when I see one. These letters do not appear to be random. Someone is behind this, and they are clearly willing to be hateful in their rhetoric.
