A program aimed at improving cleanliness in Downtown Easton has received a boost from Northampton County .

Northampton County has awarded $35,000 in Hotel Tax Grant funds to the Greater Easton Development Partnership to support the Easton Ambassadors program, according to a press release from Northampton County.

Jessica Berger, spokesperson for Northampton County, said GEDP indicated in its application that the funding will help the ambassadors support downtown and West Ward neighborhoods, as well as major community events such as PA Bacon Fest , the Easton Criterium, Live at the Falls, the Easton Farmers’ Market, the West Ward Market, and the Easton Winter Village.
