Bussey named Court Services and Diversion Program supervisor

Bob Bussey has been appointed Court Services and Diversion Program supervisor at Lewis and Clark County Department of Criminal Justice Services.

With more than 20 years of experience, Bussey earned his degree in criminal justice from Bemidji State University in 2000 and spent nearly 21 years as a probation and parole officer in Northern Minnesota. He joined Lewis and Clark County in 2023 as a pretrial officer and now oversees a range of diversion and community-based programs aimed at strengthening public safety.

Bussey’s leadership is helping expand innovative alternatives to jail and improve access to behavioral health services, while advancing the county’s mission of balancing accountability with fairness.
