Familiar tactics

The Gestapo was Nazi Germany’s infamous political police force. They were responsible for protecting the regime from its supposed racial and political enemies. Its main responsibilities were coordinating the deportation of Jews to the ghettos, and concentration camps.

Thus, deja vu. If this history lesson seems somewhat familiar, it is because our present federal administration has expanded the duties of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency. The only difference is that the ICE police force is targeting the Hispanic population instead of Jews.
