BUFFALO, N.Y. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at several New York ports of entry reported a number of arrests and narcotics seizures during the Labor Day holiday weekend, including cases involving felony warrants, weapons possession, and drug trafficking.

According to CBP, four arrests were made at the Port of Buffalo. Officers at the Peace Bridge crossing also intercepted more than four kilograms of marijuana concealed in two separate shipments.

The first arrest was made on Aug. 29, when Customs and Border Protection officers at the Peace Bridge commercial facility discovered marijuana concealed in two shipments. One was declared as "sea cucumbers" and another was sewn inside a jacket. The combined weight exceeded four kilograms.
