CLAYTON TWP, MI – A crisp Belgian waffle topped with fried chicken thighs, drizzled with a hot honey sauce.

The sauce topping that decadent meal, as well as The Pig and The Hen’s honey salmon ginger bowl comes from a key ingredient sourced from just down the road at Anthony Bee Farms .

Having celebrated its one-year anniversary in August, one of the aims of The Pig and the Hen is to include locally sourced ingredients as part of its dishes.

“I would say we are a farm to table brunch house that specializes in good, quality, unique foods,” said manager Jade Drouin.

The restaurant, located at 1072 Elms Road in Clayton Township, specializes in brunch, but is also open for dinner service on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with indoor and outdoor seating available.
