TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) - An Amish woman in Ohio accused of purposefully drowning her 4-year-old son in a lake said she "gave him to God," officer body camera footage shows.

It was on August 23 that park rangers and sheriff’s deputies in Tuscarawas County were called to Atwood Lake Park after witnesses reported that a woman, 40-year-old Ruth Miller of Millersburg, intentionally drove a golf cart into the lake.

Three of Miller’s children were also in the cart: her twin 18-year-old sons and 15-year-old daughter.

The children were able to get out of the water on their own and Miller was pulled out by rescuers.

Miller then made disturbing statements about her 4-year-old son and her husband, who were both unaccounted for.
