PORTSMOUTH — Tens of thousands of people are gathering for the 2025 Thunder Over New Hampshire Air Show , led by the Navy's Blue Angels , at Pease Air National Guard Base.

The Blue Angels demonstration team , based at the Pensacola Naval Air Station in Florida, are appearing in Portsmouth for the first time since 2012.

The Blue Angels are joined at Pease by the Vermont Air National Guard F-35A Demo Team, the New Hampshire Army National Guard’s UH-60 Black Hawk flight squad, the U.S. Para-Commandos, the KC-46A Pegasus tankers operated by the 157th Air Refueling Wing at Pease, aerobatic stunt pilot Mike Goulian and professional wing walker Carol Pilon.

More than 40,000 attendees are expected at the Sept. 6 show.
