NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Williamson County Fire Rescue (WCFR) team said they had a busy Friday evening battling a two-acre fire and a home struck by lightning.
Before the storms arrived, WCFR responded to a brush fire on Southall Road. According to WCFR, the fire started from a tractor, which then turned into a two-acre fire.
WCFR said they received assistance from other stations to quickly extinguish the fire before it spread to nearby structures.

After the storms arrived, WCFR said they responded to a home struck by lightning on Old Natchez Trace.
WCFR said while damage was sustained, the house did not catch fire.
Crews with WCFR inspected the home to make sure all was well.
