A Trump administration official informed Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man who was wrongly deported to El Salvador, that he faces deportation to the small African country Eswatini.

NBC News obtained a copy of an email a top U.S. Immigration and Customs (ICE) official sent to Abrego Garcia.

“We hereby notify you that your new country of removal is Eswatini, Africa,” the email read.

Recently, ICE had plans to deport Abrego Garcia to Uganda , but his attorneys said he feared torture or persecution there.
