DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A DeKalb County man has been indicted on more than 30 criminal charges after police say he shot and killed his estranged wife and a 7-year-old girl inside an apartment earlier this summer.

A grand jury on Thursday indicted William Almond, 47, for the June 13 killings of Tomekia Pullins, 29, and Dior Scott, a young girl who was inside the home at the time. Both were shot multiple times, according to DeKalb County Police.

Almond is facing a long list of charges, including:

2 counts of malice murder

5 counts of felony murder

Multiple counts of aggravated assault and cruelty to children

Sexual battery and home invasion

Firearm possession by a convicted felon
