Tom Cleverley declared that his Plymouth Argyle players deserved all the credit after they beat Stockport County 4-2 to clinch their second consecutive home League One win.

It has been a very difficult start to the season for the Pilgrims, who went into the match with three points from their first six games, but they put in an excellent display against Stockport, who had lost only once in the league previously this term.

They took a 2-1 lead into half-time, with an own goal from Stockport County striker Kyle Wootton and a swerving Caleb Watts shot putting them in control before Ollie Norwood replied for the visitors from an added-time, controversially-awarded penalty.
