Police have arrested around 150 people protesting outside parliament in support of Palestine Action, the group now banned as a terrorist organisation.

Officers moved in, hauling away demonstrators holding up signs saying “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action”.

More than a thousand people had pledged to risk arrest in a mass act of civil disobedience, while other pro-Gaza protests took place nearby and around the country.
