Jannik Sinner defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in four sets to reach the final of the 2025 US Open in New York. The World No.1 is into his fifth consecutive Grand Slam final and fourth this year following his win over the Canadian star. By reaching the US Open final, he broke several records on tour.

Sinner became the fourth man in the Open Era to reach the finals of all four Grand Slams in a season after Rod Laver , Roger Federer , and Novak Djokovic . The Italian star has now taken a step closer to breaking Federer’s record of being the only man to defend the US Open singles title.
