Syracuse, N.Y. - A man was stabbed on Tully Street in Syracuse Saturday morning.

At approximately 5:57 a.m., Syracuse police officers were waved down on the 400 block of Tully Street for a stabbing, according to Syracuse Police spokesperson Sgt. Thomas Blake.

A 63-year-old man had a stab wound in his right arm, Blake said.

The man had a belt tied around his arm to stop the bleeding when officers approached him, according to Blake.

The man was uncooperative when questioned by officers about what happened, Blake said.

The man was transported to Upstate University Hospital. He is expected to survive, Blake said.

The incident is believed to have happened at 427 Tully St., according to Blake.
