ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester is set for a calm and comfortable week of fall-like weather, with only a brief chances of showers and plenty of sunshine to enjoy.

The week begins with a partly cloudy skies Sunday and Monday, with just a slim chance of a passing shower or two, especially Sunday. Temperatures will hover in the upper 60s, keeping things mild for early September.

By Tuesday and Wednesday, the sun takes over. Highs will climb into the mid to upper 70s, making for some of the warmest days of the week. Wednesday may bring a few clouds, but conditions overall will remain pleasant.

The second half of the week stays dry and bright. Thursday through Saturday brings mostly sunny skies, with hgihs easing back into the low 70s. Nights will feel cool, dipping into the 40s and 50s,
