The South Carolina Department of Transportation confirms they are working to repair a hole on a bridge in Oconee County Saturday.

Officials say it's on Interstate 85 on the northbound side near Exit 2. They say it's the lane closest to the median, and traffic was down to one lane.

Officials say they are making a temporary repair to the road so it can be reopened.

They will plan to begin the permanent repair Sunday night. They will have signs up alerting drivers.
