N.C. State football offensive lineman Kamen Smith went down with an injury in the fourth quarter of the Wolfpack's Week 2 game vs. Virginia.
The sophomore offensive tackle went to the ground with 12 minutes left to play in the fourth quarter. N.C. State was leading 35-31 and threw an incomplete pass on third down when Smith went down. He was seen being helped by trainers and did not return to the game on the Wolfpack's following offensive drive.
Smith, who's listed as an offensive tackle, was starting in place of Yousef Mugharbi. N.C. State trailed 24-10 at halftime of the Week 2 nonconference matchup with the Cavaliers, but rallied in the second half to take the lead.
