ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — On Saturday, the Rochester City School District connected with families of students with special needs to provide resources as the school year begins.

In collaboration between the RCSD's Special Education Parent Advisory Council and Special Education department, the third annual Special Education Resource Fair was held at Dr. Iris J. Banister School No. 33.

During the event, representatives from the department shared support resources from local community partners dedicated to special needs students from pre-school to post-secondary schooling.

The fair was created as an inclusive space to celebrate student diversity and the various services the special education program provides students in need.
