STARRETT CITY, Brooklyn (WABC) -- A man was killed during a stabbing inside an IHOP in Brooklyn.

It happened just before 11 p.m. Friday on Flatlands Avenue in Starrett City.

Sources say the 67-year-old worked as a cleaner at the restaurant and the suspect followed him in the bathroom and stabbed him in the torso.

A 41-year-old employee was also slashed on the hand and is expected to be okay.

The suspect was taken into custody.
