The New Mexico State Fair has begun a park-and-ride service on weekends, giving the public an alternative to parking near the fairgrounds, then walking and waiting in ticket lines.
"We want to make getting to the fair as easy and seamless as possible so you spend less time in traffic and more time enjoying everything the State Fair has to offer," said Dan Mourning, the fair's general manager. "Not only does park and ride provide expedited transportation into the fair, you have the added benefit of circumventing ticket lines in order to get right to the celebration."
Buses will leave the Coronado Center from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays, Sept. 6 and 13, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays, Sept. 7 and 14. Buses back to Coronado Center will run from 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays and
