BRUNSWICK, Ohio -- Frustrating. There’s no other word I can think of that describes how people feel when their streets are flooded from watermain breaks. Which, in Brunswick, have become a long and disturbing string of trials.
I’m sure city and township officials are just as frustrated as we are every time it happens and they can’t do anything to quickly fix it because the Cleveland Water Department is in charge.
The folks in the old presidential allotment (like my family) get an extra dose of frustration because we have just one way in and out and that’s Center Road. Of course, those are the oldest water lines – the first city water was turned on in 1965.
